We believe that every person deserves the chance to thrive.
HAS was born out of a desire for sustainability and long-term service when international NGOs phase out after an emergency. On 31st December 2021, this idea was put on paper, hence the birth of Humanitarian Action for Sustainability as a Non-Government Organization.
We partner with local communities to ensure long-term impact, even after the crisis fades. HAS has a national coordination office in Kampala City, and Bidibidi Refugee Settlement in Yumbe District.
